Joining in at the Beetle Shack

sunrise ....

A couple of years ago while staying up on the NSW mid-north coast, I went down to 1-mile beach to capture the sunrise. At the northern end of the beach there is an enormous sand dune with panoramic views of the coastline from the top.  I went with my sister-in-law and nephew and we waited .... and waited .... and finally the sun came up.  It was a beautiful still morning and we had a lovely time just sitting and talking and waiting.  Once the sun rose, it was all over so quickly.
