solar eclipse

It was only a partial eclipse in NSW today but it was still amazing to see.  I only had one chance to get a shot 'cause I was driving and needed to find a safe place to pull over.  There was enough cloud cover so I was able to look at it and focus the camera.

Looking through some archives today, I rediscovered that I really like taking photos of my kids faces.  It was clear, looking back over the years, how quickly they change and what precious memories those photos hold. All of these were taken nearly 2 years ago, so I think it's time to have another go.  It's getting harder as they become less compliant.

Found this photo I took last year with my 200mm at full zoom.  I thought it would be a good one to join in with monochrome monday at magnetised by life.  Still trying to figure out the best way to shoot the moon so any tips are always welcome.
